Please also note that unless you have made arrangements with camp, you CANNOT arrive at camp any earlier than the day on your contract. Flying

For those of you planning to fly to camp, we suggest that you fly into JFK, LaGuardia (LGA) or Newark (EWR) airports. You may also wish to check out Stewart Airport (SWF), which is only 30 miles from camp. Transportation from Stewart is available upon request, please contact Brian for these arrangements.

Directions from NYC airports to Iroquois Springs:

Note: If you choose to travel from the city to camp by train, make sure you take the train to Middletown, New York, as there are Middletowns in both PA and NJ as well.

Train

Metro-North Service is available from NYC / Hoboken, NJ to Middletown, NY which is 15 miles from camp. (Make sure you take the train to Middletown, New York, as there are Middletowns in both PA and NJ as well). For more information on Metro-North trains, visit the MTA Website.

Bus

In order to make the 5:00 start time for staff orientation on June 21st, you will need to take a bus that departs no later than 2:30 PM from Port Authority in New York City. For detailed bus schedule information, visit the Coach USA Website.

Visit www.kayak.com, www.travelocity.com , www.expedia.com, www.hotwire.com, www.sidestep.com,and www.statravel.com. They are good online travel resources and have the ability to search “surrounding” airports for cheaper fares.
